Q: How far in advance should I schedule my service?

A: Generally, advanced notice of 2 to 3 weeks is recommended. Because the limo industry is route-based, it can be difficult to find a matching run for your limo on short-notice. Expedited pick-ups (with less than 7-day advanced notice) can be arranged but changes or errors increase from last minute communication.

Q: Is there a minimum number of hours for the bus rental?

A: Yes. There is a minimum of 4 hours Sunday – Thursday and 5 hours Friday and Saturday. Certain events have other minimum requirements.

Q: At what point in time does my reservation begin and end?

A: Your reservation starts at your scheduled pickup time. This means, unlike other companies, we do not charge for travel time. Your trip ends once the last patron exits the bus.

Q: Can we drink alcohol on the bus?

A: Yes, alcohol is permitted on the vehicle long as EVERYONE on the bus is at least 21 years old. If there is a mixed group of both 21+ and under 21 on board, alcohol is NOT permitted.

Q: Do you supply us with alcohol?

A: No. It is strictly BYOB. You are welcome to bring whatever beverages you would like onto the bus.

Q: Can we smoke on the bus?

A: No. Smoking is strictly prohibited on all party buses and will be subject to a fine.

Q: Can we bring food on board?

A: Yes. You are welcome to bring any dry food or snacks. However, we do advise against hot food or messy food as the bus moves around during the ride and it can be very difficult to eat. Spilled food or difficulty cleaning may require an additional fee.

Q: Do you guarantee entry to nightclubs?

A: We have strategic relationship with many nightclubs in Los Angeles and Orange County, however the nightclub has FINAL SAY on who they let in. Generally speaking, if you follow the guidelines we give you everything will be smooth. However, we DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS for any individuals or groups who are refused entry to clubs.

Q: Can we split up our group or sit in the limo and party in it?

A: It is important to let us know of your plans ahead of time. Splitting up of groups for any reason is not allowed in the limos for liability reasons. It is also a requirement to never allow a group to split for all commercial drivers according to the Commercial Driver’s Handbook of the DMV. Additionally, it is also illegal in the state of California to operate a vehicle at idle for more than 5 minutes. Therefore, just hanging out in a party bus with nothing to do is firmly discouraged.

Q: Is there an additional charge for trips outside of Los Angeles and Orange County?

A: Yes. We have a 25mile radius around around our territory where there is no fuel charge. Anything outside of the 25mile radius, there will be an additional fuel surcharge depending on a few different factors: How many hours the bus is rented for, what day of the week the bus is being rented and a few others. Typically, the travel charge is an additional $1-2/mile from our location. Please call for details.

Q: For events were minors are present, does there need to be a guardian on board?

A: No. For events like Prom where the group consists of all minors, we do require a parent and student signature agreeing to our conditions on a Leslie Bill, which must be given to the driver upon pick up. For weddings, corporate or collage events where there is a mix of ages, we provide a Transportation Waiver which must be signed prior to the event.

Q: What is the deposit to rent the bus?

A: We collect a 15 – 20% credit card deposit for each party bus reservation. A valid credit card must be provided at the time of booking in order to reserve the bus for your event. The card remains on file until the completion of the rental in case of cancellation or damages. (Please see terms and conditions for damage fees).

Q: Are you fully licensed and insured?

A: Yes! All limo service carriers are required by law to carry insurance to cover you and your guest inside the vehicle during transit. The Party Bus Group carries a the highest possible 5 million insurance bond for all of our vehicles. You can also view passenger carrier license online with the California PUC (please see Business Information).

Q: What happens if my guest get sick in the limo?

A: Party Bus Groups sick fee is up to $200 per incident, so please make sure you let your guests know this is something that you will be holding them responsible for if you have to pay this cost. Unfortunately, we only have our contract with one person, and we require all runs involving alcohol to be held with a credit card security deposit.

Q: What is an appropriate tip for the driver?

A: Gratuity should always be paid in cash directly to the driver at the time of pick up or at the end of your trip. A Gratuity of 10% is encouraged for ALL trips, unless a pre-determined gratuity has been agreed with your sales agent and included in your total balance.
